What is our client looking for?


Our client is looking for passionate and energetic Platform/DevOps Engineers to work as part of an agile team, helping their clients build and improve their digital services using the best of open source software.

In turn, a mixture of technical ability and characteristics are sought:


Technology Experience:

  • Sound knowledge of GNU/Linux
  • Experience of building infrastructure in AWS using Terraform
  • Knowledge and experience of setting up and using configuration management tooling
  • Experience debugging complex, multiserver service in a high availability production environment

Ideal Characteristics:

  • An appetite for learning new technologies
  • Ability to converse with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Passion for getting stuckin with handson projects
  • Fast learner who loves a challenge

As a member of this team, you can expect to be:


  • Undertaking crossfunctional engineering projects
  • Working with great technology, based on user centric design, modern open source technology, continuous integration/delivery, and modern software architectures

  • Docker/Kubernetes
  • Terraform
  • Grafana/Prometheus
  • Python/Ruby/Go
  • Puppet

Please Note:

This is a Remote First role; whilst being largely remote, some wider UK travel may be required at times.


This role does require eligibility for SC Clearance; applicants must have been living in the UK for 5+ years, without leaving for a continuous period of 28 days or more.
