Recruitment Officer

FIRST is an accredited learning and development agency specialising in enterprise skills for young people, early-stage founders, and professionals.

We collaborate with educational institutions, local authorities, businesses, and community organisations to address high unemployment and low business startup rates.

Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for prospective learners in our recruitment programs.

Utilise customer service and sales experience to engage effectively with potential learners.

Build and maintain relationships, converting interest into enrolment and attendance.

Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth experience for learners.

Work collaboratively with referral partners to attract top talent.

Monitor learner referrals, aiming for successful program enrolment.
-
Represent the company at events, showcasing our opportunities to potential learners.

Participate in client meetings, community events, and networking opportunities.

Cultivate relationships with recruitment and referral partners at networking events.
-
Provide feedback to referral partners about learner engagement and performance.

Maintain ongoing engagement with learners, facilitating a transition to our Learning team.

Assist in distributing marketing materials and managing social media for recruitment.

Perform additional tasks as needed to support our projects.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Essential:_
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or sales.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • The ability to engage and build relationships with learners effectively.
  • A willingness to learn and stay updated on industryrelated guidance.
  • GCSE Maths and English A-C.
  • Desirable:_
  • A degree in business, marketing, or sales.
  • A proven track record in sales, networking, and client development.
  • Proactive and selfmotivated with a customerfocused attitude.
  • Experience in lead generation and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in using social media for responses.
  • Consistently achieving and exceeding targets and KPIs.
  • Experience in securing both B2C and B2B clients.

Skills:


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with exceptional IT skills.
  • Strong administrative and organisational capabilities.
  • Effective in workload prioritisation, multitasking, and managing confidential information.
  • Excellent communication, including listening and quick assimilation of information.

Salary:
£24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
