Recognised all over the world for the iconic Henry vacuum cleaner, we design and manufacture all of our products for global distribution from our impressive production facility in Chard, Somerset.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The H&S Trainer will be based on site at Numatic International, Chard. We are looking for an experienced trainer to deliver training to our employees on a range of powered trucks.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for teaching and who is ready to share their knowledge and experience with new forklift operators.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the development and presentation of the Company's forklift and other training courses.
Conduct training sessions for new and existing colleagues, emphasising safe practices and procedures.
To prepare and maintain any records, reports or other documents associated with the responsibilities expected of a trainer.
Assist in the development of training courses including presentation and handout materials as directed by the Company.
To make recommendations for training aids and/or publications.
The ability to instruct and inspire delegates.
Ability to adapt their techniques to suit learning needs of delegates.
Maintain accurate training records and certifications.
Some shift work and nights may be required.

QUALIFCATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must hold a RTITB or ITSSAR accredited qualification and must be able to demonstrate a minimum of six months experience driving forklift trucks. Applicants will need to hold a Counterbalance License.
Ability to train on other MHE would be an advantage but is not essential.
Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel, Word (basic knowledge).
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
