Our client is a dynamic and fast-paced organisation offering comprehensive international forwarding and logistics services by air, sea and road for both export and import movements.

They are trusted to deliver millions of items every year, fulfilling ordersacross the supply chain throughout multiple channels.

Due to continued growth and success of a key accounts, they are looking for a second in command to the Global Supply Chain Director to join a lively and driven Operations team with a focus on providing a world-class customer experience.

You will manage dailycommunication with the customer to proactively seek and build continuous and meaningful engagement to shape services, manage inventory integrity, improve value from the supply chain, and link to segment service requirements.

You will be responsible for managingkey customers and works in partnership with the customer to ensure they are getting the most business value out of the proposed solutions and experience.

You will support with smooth operations, continuous business improvement and value creation for the customerwhilst collaborating with other internal stakeholders to deliver excellent service.

On the customer side your contacts will vary from Supply Chain team leads, and key users to include senior buyers, and Directors.

You are comfortable speaking with all customercontacts at these levels, from ops teams to the C suite.

To be successful in this role you will have a good understanding of End-to-End supply chain management, enterprise systems and processes, as well as a good understanding of warehouse management systems, inventory management processes and fulfilment.

Team managementexperience and effective team working, together with excellent communication and client facing skills, are pre-requisites for this position. You are an energetic and collaborative team player who thrives on achieving goals.
