ASCO delivers a wide range of integrated solutions and specialist services across all areas of logistics, materials, marine and waste, making a material difference to our customers' operations.

This role will be integral to the operation and will be responsible for providing accurate and timely data using ASCO systems and administration requirements.


Duties include:

  • Utilising the ASCO systems such as WaMS, TMS and QMS including data input, creating sales order lines, checking deliveries and raising POs whilst ensuring accuracy of information across the systems.
  • Collate KPI information from various sources, inputting the data into weekly & monthly reports to distribute to the business & clients.
  • Completing daily administrative tasks such as ordering consumables, stationary and booking loads into our sites and supplier sites.
  • Be a strong team player, proactively assisting colleagues undertaking adhoc duties and providing annual leave cover for other Operations Support duties as required.
  • Assisting the Management Team with Administrative duties when required including responding to enquiries through the main office telephone number.
  • Checking of Deliveries (DLs) within the waste system (WaMS) to ensure accuracy of information and then pushing them into AX for invoicing.
  • Raising and checking of Sales Order Lines within AX for vessel turnarounds and other adhoc services, ensuring clients are charged according to their contracts
  • Assisting with CCU tracking
  • Inputting of fuel and water delivery data into excel spreadsheets and iLMS
Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours)

  • A proven track record within an administrative role
  • Solutions based, motivated to achieve the highest standards of performance and internal/external customer support.
  • Accustomed to working effectively in a fastpaced environment, adapting to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and in writing.
  • Ability to work standalone while a positive contributor to the wider team.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent planning & organising skills.
  • Computer literate with operator knowledge across the Microsoft suite
Minimum Qualifications

  • Education to GCSE level or equivalent
