A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A
LUGGAGE PORTER AT THE WESTIN LONDON CITY

What you'll be doing..._

Reporting to the Assistant Front of House Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.

Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property
Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
Identify and explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, minibar, ice and vending areas, inroom safe, valet laundry services)
Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area and assist with luggage storage and retrieval.
Supply guests with directions. Arrange transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus, limousine/sedan service) for guests/visitors, and record advance transportation request as needed

To succeed in the role of
Luggage Porter, you will need the following qualities and skills:

We are looking for someone with a pleasant welcoming manner
Flexible adaptable to different working conditions hours
Immaculate appearance
Oral written fluency in English. Additional language will be considered a plus
Be motivated a selfstarter
Have a positive attitude
Commitment to our values and beliefs
Prior experience in Hospitality Industry
