We have an opportunity available for a Domestic Assistant / Cleaner to come and join our friendly Extra Care team


The Role


As a valued member of the team, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective cleaning service to designated areas of our Extra Care Scheme to the agreed standards within various communal, office and residential settings.


Working with mainly older, vulnerable people in their own homes, you will provide a cleaning and domestic support service which will include laundry, ironing and bed changing.

You'll also clean in communal areas such as toilets, bathrooms, corridors and lounges.


What are we looking for:


  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Excellent housekeeping skills
  • Customer care and good interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of COSHH Regulations with regard to use and storage of cleaning chemicals
  • Experience of working with vulnerable people would be desirable


It would be beneficial for you to hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle however this is not essential.
