Salary:
£24,000 - £28,000

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a fast growing renewable energy company in Derby.

The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to the internal IT systems and providing end-user support for the staff.


The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting IT problems and providing support to internal staff
  • Installing and configuring hardware, software and networks
  • Maintaining and monitoring IT systems
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Providing technical advice to staff
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technology
  • Liaising with other departments
  • Ensuring compliance with IT policies and procedures
  • Ensuring security of data and the rollout of new projects

Technical Skills Required:


  • Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
  • Experience with network infrastructure and protocols
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Knowledge of scripting languages
  • Knowledge of IT security and data protection
  • Knowledge of cloud computing
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
