Job Title:
Rainscreen Designer


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop design concepts and specifications.
  • Use specialized software tools to create 3D models, generate shop drawings, and perform structural analysis.
  • Ensure that designs comply with building codes, industry standards, and project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed material lists and cost estimates for rainscreen components.
  • Review and approve submittals from contractors and suppliers.
  • Participate in project meetings and site visits as required.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies related to rainscreen design and construction.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in rainscreen design and detailing.
  • Proficient in design software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, or SketchUp.
  • Knowledgeable in rainscreen principles, construction methods, and materials.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with building codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Willingness to travel and work onsite as needed.
  • Ideally 10 years experience in design with at least 5 years experience in rainscreens.
