Neway is seeking a Pollution Environmental Health Officer to join our client based with Camden Council.

This position is starting asap, working 36 hours a week, initially for a 3 month contract that is likely to be extended.

Pay Rate is £28 PAYE depending on experience. (equivalent to £32.91 umbrella)

Role Purpose:

To take the lead and personal responsibility for effective investigation and resolution of complex casework across the full range of Pollution Environmental Health functions.
Carrying out routine or unplanned visits and inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Understand complaints, investigate, negotiate and mediate between parties where possible to achieve positive outcome.
Responsible for developing and delivering special projects, policy, research on areas of expertise and/or functional activity within the service.
Identify learning from external sources to continuously improve service delivery

£28.00-£32.91 per hour
