Description
Train Driver - Training Simulator Field Support Engineer is needed to be based in or around Middlesbrough.

The role is for the installation, servicing, maintenance and fault rectification of desktop and full size cab driving sims for train operators.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Windows Operating systems installation and fault rectification
  • Windows PC & laptop hardware installations / fault rectification
  • Data networking (hardware and software routing)
  • Read, follow and act on schematic component and wiring diagrams
  • Electrical (from fitted consumer points, engineer does not need to hold Part P) and electronic installations & fault rectification
  • DIY skills (for mounting projectors / screens / assembling desks & chairs etc)
  • Produce accurate and timely support documentation on activities performed
  • Being able to pass Positive Security Vetting (this covers the individual, partner and families of both)
We are looking for people who have previous experience in a similar position.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

  • Middlesbrough: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
