About the role

The Humanities Division is seeking a full-time (or part-time, minimum 0.8 FTE) Project Support Coordinator to support major research projects and related activities in the Division.

You will be joining a friendly and supportive team in the Humanities Division Office.

The Divisional Project Support Coordinators have a changing portfolio of projects to support, and initially the post-holder will be supporting a new 3-year AHRC funded research project on the work of Franz Kafka, and providing administrative support to the Division's successful annual Digital Humanities Summer School.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain in-depth experience of research administration, and to be involved with researchers at the cutting edge of their fields of study.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high degree of pro-activity, flexibility, and self-motivation and be able to trouble-shoot problems.

About you

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an understanding of research in the humanities, combined with the ability to develop and continually improve processes and a capacity to prioritise varied, complex and competing demands in a busy working environment.

The duties and skills required are described in further detail in the job description.

Application process
Shortlisting will take place week commencing 26 February and interviews held week commencing 4 March.
