POSITION PURPOSE


The Consultant, Change Management role is a key position to interface with senior BU Leaders (and direct reports) primarily within Investments but will also include leaders of other BUs, to provide dedicated consulting support for a Fixed Income strategic transformation.

The incumbent is accountable to building deep understanding of business units, their strategies, and functions, as well as establishing and implementing change management plans to support this complex Fixed Income business transformation.

The incumbent will bring strong skills associated with senior executive-level communications and messaging, scoping and defining work, and building and implementing communications plans to attain business results in high-risk settings.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consulting & Change Execution Support—the incumbent will serve as a primary consultant to senior business partners, primarily within Investments but will also include Bus across the firm with a heavy emphasis on change communications.
  • Partner with colleagues within the Transformation Office and across the firm to develop and implement change management and communications strategies.
  • Build and implement change management strategies to support business objectives to include communications plans and tactics, training plans and materials, etc.
  • Build communications to help employees understand what the change is, how it impacts them, what to expect and what they need to do differently.
  • Partner with internal colleagues to develop and implement training programs, resources, and artifacts.
  • Utilize proven organizational change management techniques and methodologies.
  • Understand business strategies, define change sponsor's vision for change, identify gaps between current and future organizational states, anticipate and address sources of potential resistance, design reinforcement strategies to ensure longterm success of desired organizational changes.
  • Provide counsel and when able assess organizational climate and adoption risks—actively engaged to raise visibility into risk.
  • Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with other professionals in service of shared internal clients—carry a lens of organizational change management expertise into team conversations and planning related to assigned initiatives.
  • Use expertise to translate issues and strategies into actionable plans to ensure consistency.
  • Project Management—the incumbent's project management responsibilities will regularly include:
  • Complex documentation of change management recommendations, processes, and outcomes (Sponsor Plans, Communication Plans, Engagement Plans, Training Plans, Reinforcement Plans)
  • Management of sponsor and stakeholder relationships, recommendations and individual/group development areas and related coaching
  • Resolution of impediments and resistance to enable forward movement of the agreedupon change management plans.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Advanced consulting skills with proven experience in Asset Management
  • Build/maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Desire to build SME in program topics.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement integrated communications campaigns that lead employees through change.
  • Ability to leverage SharePoint and other tools as part of communications campaigns.
  • Ability to adjust approaches based on audience and situation.
  • Ability to adopt new technologies and innovative techniques to engage associates.
  • Ability to create easytounderstand communications to explain complex programs.
  • Intermediatetoadvanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Translate strategy into actionable tactics and activities for others.
  • Work effectively with leaders at all levels (people manages, midlevel managers, senior managers)
