Electrician/Wire Person

Hawk 3 talent solutions are working closely with a leading facility management company who are recruiting for an Electrician/Wire Person on a permanent basis, based in Birmingham.

Job title:
Electrician/Wire Person

Location:
Birmingham

Salary:
£30,000 - £35,000 (dependant on experience)

Job Role:

Working with a qualified cable jointer to provide assistance in all aspects of new connection Electrical Work.

This could include the installation and termination of Multicore Cables, installing protection panels, wall boxes, busbars, structures and plantas well as small power and lighting.


Essential Competencies:


  • To have extensive experience in both Commercial and Industrial environments
  • To have City & Guilds 236 Electrical Installation Part 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • To have 18th Edition
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • To have a full British driving licence

Desirable Competencies:


  • Ability to work on their own initiative
  • City & Guilds Inspection and Testing 2391 (or be willing to complete this within 6 months of appointment)
  • To have City & Guilds NVQ level
  • Flexible attitude to working which may include infrequent nights away from home
  • Innovative approach
  • Selfstarter
  • Highly motivated
