The University of Oxford Assurance Directorate seeks a Risk & Resilience Support Officer to join a newly established team with an exciting role.


Reporting directly to the Head of Risk & Resilience, you will be providing administrative support to a small team covering risk, compliance, assurance, business continuity and major incident management.

You will be responsible for designing and maintaining databases and websites, ensuring the systematic organisation of information and providing regular support to high-level meetings.

You will be at the heart of the University's planning for major incidents and business continuity for potential disruptions, with the opportunity to work with the many different departments of the University.

You will have excellent customer service skills, an eye for detail and positive attitude.

The role is full time and hybrid with standard office hours. The expectation is that you will work from home on two days each week.

In the event of the directorate responding to a major incident you will be expected to work outside standard office hours.

Previous experience or specific knowledge of Risk, Resilience, Compliance and Assurance, while beneficial, is not required for the role.
