£90,000 - £100,000 (Open to Negotiation)

The Role:

My client is looking for a Commercial Manager with experience working on highways and heavy civils projects to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Commercial Manager will be managing the commercial team on £20mil commercial development project in Derbyshire.

My client specialises in the design and construction of a wide range of Civil Engineering and Infrastructure projects, ranging from minor road improvements to major infrastructure schemes.

They work on Major Earthworks / Enabling, Highways, Infrastructure,Bridges, Culverts and Structures.

Essentials:

Management of a team of quantity surveyors, costing staff and project planners
Degree qualified, or equivalent
Experience of development and implementation of procedures
Civil engineering works experience, including Highways and Heavy Civils
Knowledge of a wide range of contract conditions
Strong contractual experience
Excellent IT skills and knowledge of relevant software
Ability to solve problems efficiently
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with

all levels of personnel

Ability to effectively prioritise a busy workload and meet project deadlines
Evidence new ways of thinking which deliver benefits
Ability to influence others
Experience working on JCT and NEC contracts
