  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting functions and operations.
  • Manage and mentor a team in the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Participate in financial planning and policy development initiatives.

The Successful Applicant:


A successful Finance Officer should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role in the public sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
  • Excellent leadership abilities and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
