Teaching Support Officer

Department of Economics, University of Oxford, Manor Road Building, OX1 3UQ

Grade 5:
£27131-£32348 per annum

Full time (36.5 hours per week), permanent


Start date:
February 2023


The potholder will have responsibility for a broad range of administrative activities to support the Associate Professor Tutorial Fellows (APTFs) in the department.


The post-holder will act as a key point of contact between the APTFs, colleges and the department, as well as working closely with colleagues within the support team.

The post encompasses several duties supporting the department's research and teaching activities.

As part of these duties, the post-holder will lead the department's collaboration work, develop processes for teaching and administrative support to APTFs, oversee the administration of a centralised Collections (mock exams) process for Associate Professor Tutorial Fellows (APTFs), serve as course operations assistant for the Economics and Management UNIQ Summer School, and provide support for onboarding and orientation of new teaching faculty.
