Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Commercial and Estimating Assistant located in St Albans.

The Commercial and Estimating Assistant will be responsible for supporting both the Sales & Estimating Team and the Operations Team.

We think it is a great role for someone wanting to get experience across a wide range of construction business tasks.

The role will include assisting with;
- measuring and estimating jobs,
- communicating with customers, suppliers and our site operatives
- booking jobs into our system and ensuring details are accurate at all times
- ordering materials
- calculating and sending invoices
- strong maths skills. Be able to calculate square meters and percentages, discounts, VAT & markups
- excellent interpersonal skills. Be able to talk confidently and clearly to a wide range of people both on the phone and in person
- an eye for detail. Be able to spot important details and complete tasks to a high standard
- a positive attitude. Be keen to learn new skills and work hard to learn more about our products and industry


It would be an advantage to have;
- construction experience and/ or qualifications


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

- office work: 1 year (preferred)
