    Procurement Analyst - Social Housing

    Full-Time, Permanent

    Based in Stratford

    £40,000-45,000 per annum

    We are working with a leading UK contractor to find an experienced and proactive Procurement Analyst to support the Procurement function by delivering data-driven insights driving cost efficiencies and supporting strategic sourcing decisions.

    Job Overview:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing spend patterns supplier performance and market trends to identify opportunities for savings process improvements and risk mitigation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct detailed spend analysis to uncover cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
    • Monitor and analyse supplier rebate schemes ensuring accurate reconciliation and reporting.
    • Support supplier performance reviews with actionable data and insights.
    • Provide market research and trend analysis to inform sourcing strategies.
    • Lead supplier due diligence processes for onboarding and compliance.
    • Create dashboards and executive summaries to support strategic decision-making.
    • Assist in preparing tender documentation and supporting contract negotiations.
    • Identify opportunities to include non-designated parts under Core Supply Agreements.
    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of procurement systems and processes.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement activities with operational goals.
    • Balance and prioritise multiple projects across a fast-paced multi-site business.
    • Provide ad-hoc support on bids and other procurement initiatives.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in a Procurement Analyst or similar role ideally within property or facilities management.
    • Strong analytical and data modelling skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
    • Degree in Finance Business Accounting or a related field.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
    • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Proven ability to deliver commercial insight and support tender processes.
    • Commercially aware adaptable and solution-focused.
    • Understanding of sustainability and ESG considerations in procurement.
    • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
    • Involvement in procurement systems implementation or optimisation.
