We are looking for Registered Nurses to join our fantastic team at Haddon House, Ilkeston.

As a Registered Nurse you will:

  • Deliver and oversee the highest possible standards of person centred care
  • Lead by example and building a culture of pride and empowerment, and promote an inclusive working environment
  • Promote resident wellbeing and ensure person centred Care Plans are robust, and accurately reflect the residents' changing care needs
  • Oversee all aspects of medicine management
  • Lead a team of dedicated care staff and work with the Management Team to implement lessons learnt for continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain effective relationships within the care home community this includes Residents, family members, visitors and social care professionals
  • Oversee, support and provide guidance on meaningful end of life care to residents, family members, friends and the care team
  • Participate knowledgably and professionally in all inspection visits from CI/CQC, Local Authority and CCG's, and ensuring the teams are ready at all times to do the same
  • Support in management of the care team to ensure that rotas and staffing levels are as effective as possible, and assist with the onboarding and induction of new staff
  • Ensure that yourself and the care team are up to date with mandatory training, continuous professional development and Policies & Procedures
  • Undertake unit audits in medication, care planning, risk assessment, health and safety and infection control
  • Identify and report any safeguarding/ Adult Support and Protection and/or DOLS issues or concerns
