Trainee Loan Underwriter - Finchley, London

  • Duties include:
  • Handling and assessing affordability of potential borrowers' affordability.
  • Underwriting loans to mitigate risk from initial contact through to practical loan completion.
  • Analysing the UK real estate market and considering appetite for future lending
  • Handling post loan matters from development funding to granting of leases.
  • Managing live loan portfolio to ensure performance continues throughout term.

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong numerical skills essential
  • Previous experience within lending or property finance would be preferred but full training is given.
  • A recent graduate in finance/business studies or real estate would be ideal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Particularly Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience dealing with client correspondence via phone/outlook.
  • Understanding of UK real estate
  • Understanding of national interest rate fluctuations and impact on RE

Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
