Marketing and Social Media Content Creator (22.5hrs per week)

Office based:
Hursley office with travel to London on occasion to gather content


Salary:
£25,000 - £30,000 pro rata

Alaster Anderson the Planting Experts is a garden design and landscaping business with a difference Our love of plants and how to use them to transform a space has allowed us to build an enviable reputation as one of London's most highly respected garden companies.

We are looking to build further on this success with new and exciting ventures planned for 2023 and are seeking a marketing and social media professional to assist with this growth.

As the Marketing and Social Media Content Creator, you will be a highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills, who is passionate and creative about what they do.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Hursley based office near Winchester, Hampshire, and will require travel to our London project sites.

Role:
Your role is to build brand awareness through a successful marketing and social media campaign.

The role requires someone with a creative eye, who can develop, manage, and deliver promotional content and have inspired ways to engage with audiences while promoting our brand.

Strong communication across all mediums is essential and you must possess excellent verbal and written skills. This is a new role with scope for career and salary development through this period of business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on the management of our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and website, to create, schedule and post attractive content about the gardens we create and transform.
• Build our online social profile through follower engagement and develop relationships with potential clients, other influencers and brands through promotional content and social media engagement.
• Bring fresh, new and creative ideas to the table to help build our social media presence and establish a new client base.
• Oversee the management of the company website and blog. Write, review and edit copy and content about our gardens, plants and the horticulture industry to be used on our website, blog, social media and other marketing platforms.
• Use analytics to monitor, analyse and report on marketing and social media performance, using the data to inform and modify future actions.

Requirements:

• Full UK driver's license
• Experience in marketing or social media management
• Excellent literacy skills
• Organised and methodical
