Our Client provide analyst-grade insight, business intelligence, and journalistic content to specialist networks of business professional around the globe.

They are a diverse and passionate organisation who have high level access to the top tech CEO's and businessleaders globally.

A Commercial Business Partner is a key member of the commercial finance team, working closely with the operational delivery teams reporting into the Regional Finance Director with a dotted line to the US based Commercial Finance Director.

The Commercial Business Partner will be responsible for preparing, developing and analysing key financial information to ensure that leadership team makes well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth and profitability.

They will assist in performingreconciliations and maintaining key controls over the company's expenses and financial data and working very closely with the business to help it make key decisions.

Key responsibilities will include:

Offering guidance, insight and expertise to project managers and other key stakeholders, enabling them to make effective decisions and take responsibility for budgets.
Maintaining a process to report actual project spend against budget across the entire project portfolio.
Working closely with project managers and the finance team to prepare management information ahead of project board meetings and steering committees.
Helping communicate and provide clarity over delegation of authority and upholding governance across both Project Development and other areas, helping manage change as the business grows.
Supporting in the migration to a new accounting software, helping to integrate budgets, forecasts, and timesheets.
Support in monitoring the Budget and Financial Plan against actual spend and commitments, and reporting into the Commercial Director on the financial performance of the company.
Helping to improve, standardise, and automate existing internal company reports.

They will be an exceptional communicator who is comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels across the business.

This is a fully remote role with visits to either the Oxford or London offices when required (possibly once a week).

Our Client is offering a salary of £70,000 - £75,000 + Benefits.
