HR Business Partner -1 year contract
- We are very exciting to be working with a well known manufacturing company with an office close to Kendal, who is looking for an experienced HR generalist for a HRBP, 1 year contract role. Starting before March 2023_

- Friday (1 hrs lunch)
- Salary
- Hybrid working optional 2 days home working. Minimum 3 days in office.
- A minimum of 3 years Advisory/ Generalist HR position (ideally CIPD level 5)
What does the role include
- Reporting to the HR Director and working as an integral member of the HR & Communications team, the main role purpose is to:
- To provide a first-class, front-line HR generalist service across the full spectrum of employee relations, people policies and procedures, and relevant legislation
- With the HR Director and Learning & Engagement Business Partner, help drive change through the priorities in the people strategy as we continue to grow as a newly divested company cultural and leadership development, building internal and external ambassadors,competence, succession and talent, a new policy and system framework
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Management of all end to end HR processes including recruitment and selection, onboarding and induction
- Disciplines
- Grievances
- Performance management
- Reward
- Absence management (including Occupational Health)
- Coaching, empowering and influencing line managers in effectively implementing the above
- Embedding and continuously improving HR policy and procedures in line with best practice and employment legislation
- Shaping and securing business value from the people strategy with the HR Director and Learning & Engagement Business Partner
- Project work associated with the above
- Supervision of the site reception/HR admin assistant.
Experience, Qualities and Qualifications
- Essential experience/knowledge:
- A minimum of 3 years in an advisory, generalist HR role
- Able to independently lead complex ER cases
- Experience in Performance Management, and Leadership
- Evidence of project management
Qualities:
- Strong influencing, facilitation, and coaching skills
- Strong initiative, problem solving skills and decision making
- Attention to detail
- Highly organised, structured, and adaptable
Formal education or qualifications required
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English
- CIPD Level 5 HR Management (preferred but not essential)
