MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB


The focus of this role is on preventing domestic abuse by providing support, advice and assistance to adults in the community who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse.


To provide safety planning, support, advice, and assistance to adults in the community supporting them to keep safe in and maintain their current or new accommodation.

The post-holder will work to empower and support all victims and survivors of domestic abuse to make positive choices.


To work in partnership with Southampton IDVA service to deliver Pippa (Prevention, Intervention and Public Protection Alliance) providing initial advice, information and guidance to victims, professionals, and family members.

To participate in the delivery of the on-call out of hours on a rota basis.


We particularly welcome applicants from BAMER communities that are currently under-represented in our organisation.
An enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) disclosure will be required for this role.
