We are looking for a
Team Leader to lead our team of Support Workers in Llangyfelach, Swansea.

You will motivate the team by setting the highest standards, support team members with their development, manage the needs of the people we support in their home and establish strategies to improve their lives.

The people supported have a wide range of interests which include shopping, going to the gym, eating out, and exploring their local community.

Each individual will have their own care needs and personal support plans that you will need to monitor and update regularly and ensure that staff follow these.

Routines and consistency are vital for the gentlemen, as a Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring the team are able to follow these.

What will you be doing:

You will provide leadership and direction to our teams within the Llangyfelach/Penllergaer region.
You will ensure Quality Assurance systems are implemented to continually develop and review the quality of support provided.
You will work in partnership with others, supporting the development of positive networks of people, and encouraging input from families, advocates and multidisciplinary teams.
You will ensure the service we provide complies with CIW regulation and Local Authority Service specifications.
You will be responsible for reporting to the locality manager to ensure all needs of the service are being met.

Ideally you will have experience of working in a health and social care environment, but it's the ability to inspire those around you that will set you apart as a mirus Team Leader.
