The Role


We are looking for an Apprentice Administrator to work within our Headquarters in Rugby providing comprehensive admin support to HQ departments.


Reporting to the HR Business Partner L&D, the Administrator will support colleagues in all aspects of administration as well as delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.


  • Assist the HR department with Learning & Development activities. This would include booking & setting up training rooms for training to be delivered, booking hotel accommodation and corporate lunches, recording completed training on the HR system, issuingtraining certificates and long service awards
  • Support the HR team with the administration tasks of a new starter ranging from requesting references, dispatching onboarding starter boxes to updating business organisational charts on the internal systems
  • Support HR by updating the employee database, new starters, leavers, changes, sickness absence data, holiday reporting etc
  • Support the HR team with the administration of DB and DC pension schemes, starters, leavers, and annual communications
  • Supporting the SHEQ team with general administration, H&S stats, SHEQ data for tender submissions and keeping the internal systems up to date
  • Responsible for ensuring the fleet management system is kept up to date with live data. This would include managing driver scorecards, accident reports, 121 driver training records, completing insurance & MOT checks, and producing accurate reports formanagement
  • General HQ administration duties would also include ordering stationery, booking travel and accommodation, holiday cover for reception plus any other ad hoc projects as required.
