An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our Haematology team, within the Medical Division of the Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust.


The role involves supporting the Macmillan Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide a quality service for the cancer patients and their families throughout their cancer journey.

You will be instrumental in providing cancer information and support, to enable people to navigate the health and social care system and make choices that are best for their cancer and their life.

The aim of the role is to make sure that people living with cancer can access the right support, at the right time.

A background in Haematology care would be an advantage. Excellent communication skills and an ability to prioritise workload whilst working as part of a team are essential. It is also essential to have basic IT skills and previous experience working with CERNER would be an advantage.
