Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting patients in selecting appropriate frames and lenses based on prescriptions, facial features, and lifestyle requirements.
  • Accurately measuring and fitting eyeglasses to ensure optimal vision correction and comfort for the patient.
  • Providing expert advice on lens options, coatings, and tints to address specific visual needs and lifestyle considerations.
  • Collaborating with Optometrists and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and exceptional service.
  • Keeping uptodate with the latest eyewear trends, lens technologies, and industry developments.

Requirements:


  • Qualification as a Dispensing Optician and registration with the General Optical Council (GOC) in the UK.
  • Proven experience as a Dispensing Optician, with a strong track record of delivering outstanding customer service and eyewear solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients and understand their unique needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in frame adjustments and lens fittings.
  • Uptodate knowledge of lens options, coatings, and eyewear brands.
