Description

Our client based in Sandy is currently recruiting for a Production Manager - Assembly to join them on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced electromechanicalBuild Manager, ideally with previous experience of change management and continued improvement.

You will report to the Manufacturing Manager.

You will have responsibility for the build function.

You will undertake the following core tasks:

Manage a team of between people across the various functions:
Responsible for the manufacture of products to the build schedule.
Ensure production is a continually high standard working efficiently.
Continually review the production process with a view to generating lean improvements.
Work closely with other functions to enable achievement of the delivery schedule.
Manage Health and Safety

Previous experience

Managerial experience with a minimum of 5 years proven experience, ideally in an electromechanical environment.
Ability to ensure effective use of resources.
Experience or appreciation of lean methodologies.
Previous experience of MRP systems and Microsoft Office
Strong Administration skills.
Flexible and adaptable in a fastpaced environment
