Join us as a Portfolio Distribution & Analytics Associate

  • We'll look to you to support our ongoing portfolio lifecycle management activities across our securitised corporate banking book lending portfolio
  • Daytoday, you'll be responsible for your own portfolio of structured finance transactions and activities like monitoring deals and client performance against specific triggers

What you'll do:


As our Portfolio Distribution & Analytics Associate, you'll work on publicly rated CLO bond holdings, BSL, European and US mid-market corporate leveraged loans and structured financial transactions that're backed by middle-market corporate leveraged and reoccurring revenue loans.


Alongside this, you'll monitor the performance of underlying asset pools versus covenants and triggers on a deal-by-deal basis, identifying and escalating any potential red flags, and work with Technology and other key stakeholders to develop and automate the portfolio management process.


Your top priorities will include:

  • Collecting and reviewing the reporting data while undertaking trend analysis to identify covenant and trigger breaches or any deterioration in performance
  • Preparing performance reports as required for stakeholders both within Private Finance and, more broadly, across Credit
  • Helping the Portfolio Management and Sales team in distributing activities across Private Financing to support our financial objectives around revenue targets and resource budgets
  • Supporting ongoing portfolio monitoring activities across our private financing portfolio
  • Providing consistent portfolio management while working closely with the private financing teams across Sales, Structuring and Risk Management

The skills you'll need:


We'll need you to have knowledge of securitisations and a background that involves leveraged loans or leveraged finance in a front office or portfolio management role.

You'll also have an understanding of transaction documentation.


As well as this, you'll be organised, have excellent data skills and know how to utilise Excel and handle large data sets.

Additionally, you'll have coding experience and an understanding of SQL, VBA and data visualisation tools.


Furthermore, you'll need:

  • Great analytical skills
  • Written and verbal communication and people management skills
  • An understanding of lending products and associated regulations
  • To be able to work with others to perform complex tasks and adjust your actions in relation to your colleagues' needs
  • The ability to quickly assimilate quantities of information and a willingness to learn
