Role Description:


  • The individual will be responsible for coordinating, scoping and leading team reviews to provide timely and complete assurance over Anti-Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Economic Sanctions across the enterprise.
  • Independently executes assigned audit activities and supervise audit team for the project engagement as well as engage in multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Utilizes sound, seasoned analytical skills and possesses business, and technical expertise to execute assigned responsibilities.
  • Identifies control deficiencies, discusses with line management, and initiates control matter recommendations in assigned test areas
  • Assesses issues for impact to business processes, controls, and strategies; recommends severity ratings and escalation of broad themes or trends
  • Begins to establish business partner relationships; primary engagement is with line management
  • Supports employee development efforts, teamwork, and a positive and inclusive work environment

The Team:

This team consists of 50 people across AML Corporate Audit based in Singapore, India, UK, and the US.This team is responsible for executing an audit program designed to independently validate the design and effectiveness of controls to manage risks relatedto Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Economic Sanctions across the enterprise


Key skills:


  • Audit, Risk, Business Control, Compliance experience
  • Direct Financial Crimes experience
  • Possesses or willing to obtain a financial crimes related Certification
  • Ability to develop, execute and evaluate audit test plans within a riskbased audit methodology.
  • Strong analytical skills.
Ability to analyse large amounts of data and turn it into usable information.

  • Ability to work in a detailed manner as well as to look broadly across a population and develop connections and themes identifying risk and concerns.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to converse with management on all levels

Desired skills:


  • Intermediate Analytical / Automation Skills (SQL, SAS, Advanced Excel and Access)
