WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


We are offering a two year L4 Professional Accounting or Taxation apprenticeship to join our Early Careers community at our headquarters in Telford.

RBSL is a growing and exciting business that specialises in the design, manufacture and support of military vehicles used by the British Army that has a growing and dynamic Early Careers program.

What will the apprentice be doing?


Significant amount of day release to college with the remainder of the time spent on site working within the finance function of RBSL.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?


Day releases to the Training Provider where the apprentice will be studying a Level 4 standard Professional Accounting or Taxation Technician - ST0003.

When in the business the apprentice will spend time in various areas of finance, to build upon the knowledge and understanding gained whilst studying at their training provider.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?


On successful completion of the two year apprenticeship it is planned that the apprentice will exit into a role within the RBSL Finance Team although the specific area within the function s is planned to be defined within the final six months of the apprenticeship.


WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
Essential Skills

  • GCSE or equivalent English Language (Grade 4) essential
  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) essential
  • And 3 GCSE or equivalent (Grade 4) essential

  • Administrative skills
  • Team working
  • Initiative and strong mathematical abilities.
