You are someone who is as comfortable interacting with a range of different people at different levels as you are in getting stuck into the production of the management accounts.

You want a role where you can develop yourself and really add value making finance meaningful to the non finance budget holders you will be supporting.

What you'll be doing:

You will be working with colleagues who are well established in their roles and friendly, but also open to new ideas and ways of working and you'll be supporting and leading across all aspects of finance business partnering and the production of managementaccounts and financial returns.

What you'll need to offer:

As an experienced management accountant you'll have honed your experience across management accounts activities and be looking to use great communication skills to interact with budget holders as the face of the finance team.

You'll have a passion for ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion is achieved across everything that you do.

You may be a high performing management accountant looking to take the next step in their career or someone who is already operating at a similar level, but looking for a new challenge in a supportive and interesting environment.

What's in it for you:
As a package many of the best perks of this role are those you can't put a price on:

  • Walking to your office through a vibrant and engaging location where every day you might see something new on your walk into the building (or indeed the fact that they remain committed to hybrid working so
  • 3 days per week you might not have a very longwalk to your office at all)
  • The positive sense of purpose that the work you do will all contribute to achieving great outcomes for the future leaders of tomorrow.
  • 35 hour working week as standard, of course being in a management role within finance will mean occasional longer days, but this is an organisation where you aren't continuously obliged to work overtime on a weekly basis.
  • A real commitment to all staff for continuous personal development and training, you can drive what this might look like for you.
  • A very generous holiday entitlement with the option to buy or sell to best suit your personal needs c40 days including bank holidays, but not including Christmas close down which isn't taken out of your allowance (genuinely one of the best holiday packagesthat I've seen on the market)
  • A really great pension contribution a local government pension scheme which has an employer contribution of more than 6 times the autoenrolment figures
  • Staff community networks that you can join to broaden your horizons and access help and support.
  • Employee assistance programme and staff discounts
  • A salary of c£35,000 £37,000 with scope for internal progression and future development.
