TT Barnstaple are currently trialling a 4-day working week and during that time you can either opt in or out of the pilot.


hours of work available are:
OPT IN - Monday to Thursday 7.15am to 5.30pm.

OPT OUT - Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm/Friday 8am to 1pm


Role Overview and Responsibilities:

Introduction


This role will be reponsible for establishing a robust site infrastructure service and facilities programme, incorporating daily through to annual requirements to ensure site standards are both maintained and enhanced to provide safe and efficient operation of the Barnstaple Site and indentifying opportinuties to enhance external and internal infrastructure facilities and processes.

This will include implementation of a contract schedule and the cooridination of resources on site to manage the programme of infrastructure maintenance and facilities programme


You will be responsible for establishing and managing planned delivery of the budget for the maintenance of the Site Infrastructure and support the HSE Manager in addressing Site Infrastructure, office and manufacturing environment service requirements to meet business needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a culture of continuous improvement of health and safety performance, including adherence to site Health, Safety and Environment Policies, and focus on zero harm through identifying and managing all site and people hazards.
  • Demonstrate safe working processes and behaviours, ensuring these are being followed by all employees and contractor personnel permitted on site within their place of work.
  • Develop and implement a Site Infrastructure maintenance programme, incorporating scheduled maintenance of all external aspects, offices and service requirements for the manufacturing areas on site.
  • Effective development of contractor service resourcing and key liaison with companies to ensure scope of work, capability to deliver and cost effective delivery of service requirements; supported by purchasing team
  • Reviewing and renewing site infrastructure and facilities contracts, working alongside purchasing and accounts team to ensure appropriate service levels and efficient costing.
  • Management of both scheduled and adhoc site service activities, incorporating the facilities team and external contract resource; together with performing tasks within competence level (basic repairs, redecoration,etc) as required.
  • Ensuring all scheduled infrastructure maintenance and service visits are completed to schedule, in a timely manner and statutory compliance is prioritised.
  • Raising/requesting relevant documentation for service visits including purchase requisitions, visitor/contractor documentation, inductions and relevant EHS documentation to enable safe delivery of activities on site.
  • Proactively manage crossfunctional communication and information flow to ensure delivery of best facilities and maintenance services to the Barnstaple site
  • Project management of subcontractors and contractors, including refurbishment and new build projects; together with Capex implementation.
