Description

Forward Sourcing Buyer required by market leading, innovative international designer and manufacturer of machines for the global healthcare/life science sector.

You will ensure seamless, efficient and robust execution of end-to-end forward sourcing processes from early product development until product end-of-life and engineering change note management.

This will include cost control, ramp up management, supply risk management, etc in alignment with the material strategy category regarding Quality and Cost and will involve significant liaison with colleagues in R&D and logistics.

You will plan, implement and coordinate Supply Chain Management concepts for efficient realisation of optimised material flow from supplier to production from early product development phase until end of life.

You will coordinate, execute and evaluate tendersand conduct supplier negotiations in regards to price, quantity and quality.

Degree or equivalent qualified in business engineering or science you have significant experience in international procurement/supply chain management, including sourcing in the context of a high tech manufacturing organisation.

A good technical appreciationof electronics, polymers or mechanical processing would be useful.

Structured and analytical in your approach, you are a very effective communicator with some project management skills ideally acquired in an Agile environment.

Exposure to SAP would also be useful and you should have good MS Office skills.
