TEACHING ASSISTANT - LANCASTER

A rural primary school in Lancaster area are looking for a part time Teaching Assistant.
This is a permanent position, starting April 2024.

The position will be a general Teaching Assistant Level 2 role, working across all year groups from EYFS to KS2. This is a part time position, working betweek 10 to 17.5 hours per week, with one day a week including working in their after school provision, until 5.30pm.

Duties will include:


  • Preparing activities and lessons
  • Delivering engaging sessions
  • Supervising and providing particular support and encouragement for the pupil
  • Ensuring pupils safety and access to learning activities
  • Supporting pupils with specialist needs and implementing IEPs
  • Phonics

Teaching Assistant Key Information:

- £13.00 per hour

  • To start from ASAP
  • Minimum of Teaching Assistant level 2 qualification
  • Experience and knowledge of supporting primary aged
  • Behaviour management
  • Phonics
experience and knowledge

  • Adaptable and flexible to support the class teacher and to suit needs of pupils.
  • Available full time for the duration of the assignment
