Here at CNWL we encourage our psychological professions staff to pursue leadership opportunities in senior roles.

Various prominent leadership roles within the Trust are currently held by Psychologists including:
Director of Strategy and Integration, Chief Information Officer, & Clinical Directors. We facilitate the development of our psychological professions staff across all areas. The professional group is led by our Director of Therapies and our Chief Psychologist, both Consultant Clinical Psychologists.


Milton Keynes Community Mental Health Hub delivers an innovative and successful therapies pathway for people with diagnoses of Trauma, Personality Disorder, and Complex Mood and Anxiety Disorders.

The pathway delivers a range of evidence-based interventions as recommended by NICE Guidance, predominately MBT, DBT, EMDR and CBT. Other modalities are used dependent on patient need and best practice.


You will be given the opportunity deliver evidence-based therapies, to proactively participate in service development and evaluation as well as clinical project work, to work closely with colleagues of other professions and most importantly enable you to help people make life long and meaningful changes.


You will have assessment, formulation, and therapy skills; and you will have experience, training and knowledge in working with Complex Presentations and have well developed skills in evidence-based therapies, in particular DBT/MBT.

You will join a group of therapists, psychologists and other professionals within the team.

You will join a friendly, highly experienced and supportive group of psychological therapists in Milton Keynes, with opportunities to meet, share innovations and learn together regularly


Please note:
The job description for this post is based on Band 7 competencies. However, newly qualified applicants will also be considered at Band 6 with a preceptorship period.
