Description
We are recruiting for a Driver / Warehouse person, on behalf of an Electrical Wholesaler in Leeds.


This role will include delivering products to customers in the company van, general warehouse duties and occasionally answering inbound phone calls in the office during very busy periods.


Key Duties:


  • Deliver customers goods in a safe and efficient manner
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries and customer authorisation and ensure all documentation is filed appropriately
  • May have to lift heavy products or parcels
  • Keep company vehicle clean and ensure it is wellmaintained, has fuel, oil and is ready to drive
  • Professional with customers at all times and maintain the high standards of our business
  • Maintain and book in any goods within the stores when not driving the van
  • Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock
  • Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves
  • Occasionally answering inbound calls in the office, to help the internal staff during very busy periods

Desired Skills / Experience:


  • Driving Licence (no more than 3 points)
  • Previous Electrical Wholesale experience
  • Confidence in speaking to a variety of people
  • Able to follow procedures
  • Good telephone manner
  • Good knowledge of the local area
  • Hard working individual
