Trade Account Manager, LED Lighting


Location:
Remote (wfh) with limited requirement for travel.


The Company


This is an exciting opportunity to join an international leading LED manufacturing company making SMD LED, High Power LED and COB LED.

They are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001accredited with a well-established state of the art automated manufacturing facility.


The company is now looking to expand into the UK market by first establishing a successful commercial operation with the objective of manufacturing in the UK in due course.


The Job


We are looking for an experienced and tenacious Trade Account Manager from a technical background, ideally in lighting or similar products looking to work for an innovative leading provider of LED lighting solutions to the commercial construction sector.

It is an independent and autonomous role where you will deliver major new business from both predominantly in the wholesale and retail market serving the main contractors sub-contractors in the construction sector, both domestic housing and commercial/industrialsectors.

On offer is an Account Manager's role where you will create long-term, trusting relationships with customers. The role is to develop new business, actively seeking new sales opportunities using your experience and knowledge of the industry
Responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, and preparing sales reports.

In this role, you will liaise with external business development and internal teams (including Commercial,Marketing, and Product Development) to improve the entire customer experience.

This position may require occasional travel.

The role could, in the first instance, be on a part time or full-time basis, depending on personal circumstance.


Main Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and growth of allocated accounts
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Build and maintain strong, longlasting client relationships.
  • Negotiate and close agreements to maximise profits.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts e.g., through GAP analysis.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Devise a strategy for each individual customer with a clear plan of action for the quarter ahead.

The Person:


  • Proven experience within a Trade Account Management role
  • LED lighting or similar serving the Construction sector is desirable.

Remuneration
£3- 45k, pro rata if part time + OTE.
