Temporary Year 5 & 6 Primary Teacher - Full or Part Time

We are looking for a Year 5 & 6 Primary Teacher to cover full or part time from Easter until the end of the academic year.

This is a lovely supply role for a lovely and popular Primary School in the
Maryport area and is open to NQT's andexperienced Teachers.

Duties/Expectations of a Supply Teacher

As a
long term supply teacheryou will be expected to
plan and teach well-structured lessonsof a high standard to the students you are assigned by following designated programmes of study.

By monitoring students in accordance with agreed departmental strategies you will impart your knowledge and develop students' understanding through effectiveuse of lesson time.

You will be
required to set homework where required.

You will be expected to contribute to the design and provision of an engaging curriculum along with the other department staff.

You will
maintain disciplinein accordance with school policies and demonstrate good practice in the classes taught with regard to; attendance, appearance, uniform, punctuality, behaviour and homework.

You will also be expected to
set high expectationswhich inspire, motivate and challenge students.
