Assistant Housekeeper - Bristol (Wraxall)

16.5 hours over 3 days or 24 hours over 4 days available (ad-hoc bank positions also available)

£20,157 - £21,583 fte per annum (£ £11.22 per hour) plus an additional £5.71 per hour for weekend and bank holiday shifts.**

Children's Hospice South West provides care and support for children with life limiting conditions.

Where you will be working
Charlton Farm is situated in beautiful surroundings in Wraxall, at the edge of Bristol.

Set in imaginative restorations of listed farm and farm buildings, the hospice has a homely feel and yet provides stunning and spacious accommodation for the whole family, making the most of short and precious lives.


The Role


Working as part of a friendly and professional team, you will assist with the cleaning of the main house and offices including preparation of children's and family rooms and all main communal areas and bathrooms.

You will also assist with the laundering of bed linen and clothes, ironing, stocking up of linen cupboards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a permanent role within a homely environment.


You will have experience of working in a cleaning or housekeeping role, ideally within a hotel or similar setting, and have an awareness of health and safety in the workplace.

Good communication skills are essential as well as a warm and friendly approach and the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
