The Burford Recruitment Company are delighted to be working with a global manufacturer located In Witney, who are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer on a fixed term contract.


Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out patrol inspections of production manufacturing and assembly areas.


Responsibilities:


  • Verify Goods-In material certification & compile stainless steel certification packs
  • To assist with any Quality Control issues that may arise in Goods-In or Production
  • To oversee and maintain calibration of measurement equipment across all sites
  • To assist with goodsin inspection

Skills and attributes required:


  • Minimum 2 years' experience of working within an inspection or production environment
  • Experience with administration work and using Microsoft Office / PDF software
  • Calibration Management experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend Engineering drawings
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Experience of using SAP would be an advantage but not essential
