The Supply Room is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Specialist School in Wareham, Dorset.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the chance to support students aged 16 to 25 years with a diagnosis of Autism.

The curriculum in this specialist school is diverse and includes Horticulture, Pottery, Equine Therapy, Farm School, Online Retail, and Life Skills.

You will have the opportunity to work on a 1-1 basis or within small groups primarily, ensuring each student receives the personalized support they need to thrive.

In this role, your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, providing individualized support to students, promoting their social and emotional development, and contributing to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment.

You will also bring your previous experience, training, qualifications, or knowledge in Childcare, Education, or Health & Social Care to provide additional support to the students.

We offer a competitive pay rate of £80 - £85 per day, and this position is a permanent role with a 12-week temporary-to-permanent contract from day one.

The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.00pm, providing a stable and consistent schedule.
