    We are an international manufacturer of parts for the plumbing industry, and we are seeking a Team Leader for our injection moulding section in central Cornwall.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure departmental compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
    • Maintain high standards of departmental housekeeping.
    • Implement production plans to achieve efficiency targets.
    • Guarantee production quality meets required standards.
    • Participate in initiatives to improve efficiency.
    • Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures within the department.
    • Promote individual needs and requirements among department members, maximising morale and motivation within shifts and across shifts to foster positive departmental relationships.
    • Attend and present daily summaries (DSUMs) and maintain excellent communication across all shifts via daily shift reports (DSR), email, etc.
    • Facilitate cross-departmental liaison (tool room, quality, planning, engineering, maintenance, assembly, etc.) on a daily basis.
    • Demonstrate expertise in all areas and activities within the manufacturing sections of the Moulding department.
    • Undertake production tasks within the Moulding department as required by resourcing demands.
    • Perform inspections and measurements according to established procedures.
    • IDentify skills gaps among department members.
    • Show a duty of care to all colleagues, visitors, contractors, or anyone else on site.
    • Conduct and report on Process Audits.
    • Carry out any reasonable management requests.

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent injection moulding processing skills.
    • Junior management experience.
    • Desirable: ERM system experience.
