Software Developer / Engineer London / WFH to £95k+
Would you like to work on complex, distributed systems with challenges around latency and scalability?

As a Software Developer you'll work on a Greenfield MTF trading system as a key part of a highly talented Agile development team that values knowledge sharing and close collaboration.

You'll take a lead on technical projects with a focus on scalability andimproving latency, working on complex distributed systems with event driven architectures.


WFH Policy:


You'll join colleagues in the City based office two days a week (flexible start times), with the other three days work from home in a hybrid model; there's an upbeat team environment, casual dress code and a range of first class facilities.


Requirements:


  • You have strong core Java design and development skills including multithreading / concurrency
  • You have experience of working on large, complex, distributed software systems with low latency and high throughput
  • You have full software development lifecycle experience and a good knowledge of Agile
  • You're keen to take ownership and happy to lead / mentor others
  • You have a good knowledge of CI/CD, microservices (SpringBoot), Event Driven Architectures, Data Streaming (Kafka)
  • You're collaborative with good communication skills, enjoy problem solving, sharing knowledge and continually improving
