Description
Stanton House is representing a high growth PE backed business to recruit an Interim Management Accountant. This is a 9 month assignment with an option to transfer to permanent employment.

The business has recently secured Investment from a high profileinvestor who have intentions to grow the business through an acquisition strategy.


You will work with the CFO to conduct the following:

  • Prepare the full monthly management accounts (inc P&L, balance sheet and cashflow statements)
  • Manage the audit process
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and P&L accounts
  • Prepare detailed weekly cashflow forecasts
  • Prepare Payroll Journals and Reports
  • Support with the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Manage the bank accounts
  • Assist Head of Finance with Ad Hoc reports / projects
  • Deliver process improvement initiatives

To be suitable, you must have the following:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Strong background of managing a month end process
  • Tangible examples of where you've improved financial processes
  • Available on short notice


The client is looking for someone to be in the office three days a week (HQ is in close proximity of Reading).
