Hampton Gardens is an 11-19 free school which opened in September 2017 to an initial intake of 180 Year 7 students. When full, the school will accommodate 1200 students in years 7-11 and 300 students in Sixth Form.

Caretaker


We are looking for a flexible and hardworking individual who is keen to play an active role in providing a full caretaking service to the school.

With support and guidance from the Trust Estates Manager you will be able to work on your own initiative and as part of the site team.

You should have some hands-on experience working in a similar field and will need to be adaptable and able to respond to changes in working practices, with a willingness to 'go that extra mile' and respond to reasonable requests that go beyond normal routine.

You will possess good interpersonal skills and be able to deal confidently with staff, students, parents and visitors.


This is a permanent position based at Hampton Gardens working 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri) and is for term time only plus 5 days.


Working Hours:


The normal working hours will be 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday _(with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)_ - 37 hours per week.

However, flexibility is required to cover site staff holidays, sickness and the occasional evening event at the school.

This may include start times of 6:45am, or finish times between 6.30pm and 9.30pm, depending on the shift to be covered.


Salary:


Site Officer (Grade 5)
Full time salary (52 weeks)

From:
£21,575 to: £22,369

Actual salary (37 hrs / term time only + 5 days)
