A multiple award winning PR agency is looking for a Management Accountant to work in a sole role but reporting into the group finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work across management accounts, commercial, statutory and system as well as working towards becoming a qualified accountant.

You MUST be driven, pro-active and career motivated with the ability to communicate efficiently with other stakeholders within the business.

Due to the nature of the industry the role requires someone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentwith excellent time management skills.

The role requires a Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or ACA), looking for a job that will offer the opportunity to develop and progress.

Key responsibilities

Preparation of the management accounts working to agreed deadlines (fixed assets, prepayments, accruals)
To investigate and report on accounting issues identified during the preparation of the management accounts
Ensure that selected balance sheet reconciliations are completed/reviewed to agreed deadlines with all reconciling items investigated and resolved promptly
Reviewing client fees and cost budgets.
Work closely with the billing and payables functions to ensure everything is accurate and timely
Attending meetings with senior stakeholders to discuss the management accounts
Month end closing
Manage the company credit card
Manage the annual insurance and credit insurance
Reporting to support with the commercials for each entity e.g. client profitability, servicing, utilisation
Help review and give advice on client and supplier contracts
Timesheet client codes opening/reviewing/closing
